My name is Andrew Davis. And as you might have noticed my initials are "A"
and "D". So in 1995, when I was looking for cool URL, adada was it.

I grew up outside of Dayton, OH and when I was 10, I visited a graphic design studio. Just a quick visit with my father's best friend but I was hooked. Something about the problem solving and creativity really appealed to me.

Frankly it's the same thing that attracts me to gaming. As my regular D&D group will attest, I'm a terror for finding unexpected solutions to challenges while playing. I've played games for a huge chunk of my life. Sometimes, it was a made up game like 'shoe golf' or all night tag games after I moved to New Jersey. Thats where I started playing AD&D (can you see the theme here?)

I went to school in New Jersey and, soon after graduation, moved out to Berkeley, CA. The Bay Area is where I was able to hone my skills, learn to understand what drives business success, branding. It's where I was lucky enough to work with enterprises like Microsoft, Google, Visa and more. It's also where I've been lucky enough to work with startups and businesses at every scale.

After a lifetime of woodworking, I came up with the Dodecadonut around 2018. And I decided to turn it into a 'more active business in 2023. As part of this, I really started to engage with the business of gaming, learning about building community, connecting people, manufacturing and much more.
