A brand is more than a logo. It’s a framework that includes values and visual assets, goals and ambitions. And in the context of your business, it includes all of your games. Powerful gaming brands like Leder Games or Stonemaier Games are able to build strong reputations that allow premium pricing and easier sales. So while the game brand is important, you shouldn’t ignore the larger, master brand.
Developing a brand is much like any skill. You could do it, but it will take longer, likely include errors and will probably cost more in the long run. I have over 20 years of experience in not only building brands, but leveraging them for business success. I’m also doing this for myself with Dodecadonuts, so I know it works.
I work hard to set projects up for success, with milestones where we are all satisfied with the work before we move onto the next stage. Ideally this means that there are minimal revisions but I will continue to work with you until you’re satisfied. If there are additional needs, like booth design, collateral or other support, I’ll provide an estimate and timing and we’ll work on that basis.
From the initial audit to the final site, this process should take between 6-8 weeks. Our meetings should take about 1 hour when we are reviewing work or working through the audit. I usually try to return revisions in 2-3 business days. Regardless, I will always set a realistic schedule and hold to it.
The Gaming Brand Builder has a fixed price and all work involved is covered by it. I ask for a 30% deposit at the start of the process and another 30% before we build out the brand guidelines. The final payment will be due at the end before the final handoff of the site.
If you’ve raised $30K or more in crowdfunding, have more than one game in production and have ambitions to create a sustainable long-term game company, I’d be very interested to talk with you about how I can help.
If you're not satisfied with any part of the process, we'll continue to work with you until you are.
